Though Stand Up Paddleboarding shares a lot with more conventional surfing, the sports differs greatly when it comes to its specific equipment and accessories.
Aside from the obviously larger boards, you'll also want to invest in a purpose built paddle and maybe some rail tape or a paddle guard to save your board from the inevitable bumps from the paddle.
